ORDERING
After viewing "CHOOSING A GLOVE" follow these steps to order.

A) TRACE YOUR HAND

1.  If you are in the habit of wearing jewelry or a batting glove inside of your baseball glove then you should wear these when tracing.

2.  Lay an 8.5” x 11” letter-sized sheet of paper down on a table and use a fine-tipped pen.

3.  Put your catching hand (not your throwing hand) spread-eagle on the paper and keep your elbow touching the table surface so you can include a few inches of your wrist while tracing.

4.  Trace your hand and wrist. Make sure that you keep a slight angle on your pen so that the line down on the paper level represents the true width of your hand at a higher level.

5.  Write what you want embroidered on the glove at the top of the page.

B) INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE SAME PIECE OF PAPER

1.  Your full name, U.S. Postal Service delivery address, phone, and email address.

2.  Glove size: 11.5, 12, 12.5, 13.

3.  Open or closed web.

4.  OPTIONAL—Information on how you intend to use the glove. For example: baseball or softball or both, likely field positions, amount of use, preference for soft or stiff, tight or loose fit, etc.

5.  OPTIONAL—Miscellaneous custom requests. We’ll try to accommodate within reason. If your request differs from the standard options offered and requires more working time then check with us on possible additional costs before sending payment.

C) SEND IT TO US

1.  Your hand tracing with information on the back.

2.  This years model is priceless. All orders for Carpenter Trade gloves will be done for trade only, not for money. Trade offers must be agreed upon by email before mailing your order. Please read MY STORY which explains why we are only accepting trades. As for what to trade, anything goes. We are especially interested in trades that help our business. Examples of past offers have included trading professional services, making a video documenting our process, and trading tools, materials, and machinery. We do not have any further guidance such as giving you a specific item that we are willing to trade for but we will gladly respond to your reasonable offer. Understand that we are trying to reduce the number of orders during a transitional period. Please check this site for updates as we hope to return to priced gloves and expanded production sometime in 2012.

3.  Mail to:

Carpenter Trade, Inc.
P.O. Box 123
